A Gallery Feather Addition and an Urge to Paint.

I am in a painting mode right now; I have the urge. Perhaps it’s the therapeutic stroking of brush to paper, or the desire to create beauty. 

I’ve also been a mode of feathers. 

And so I decided to create an addition to my hallway gallery wall.

I think it is a simple but nice addition. You can never have too many feathers, I say. Or, as As Emily Dickinson says,

“Hope” is the thing with feathers –

That perches in the soul –

And sings the tune without the words –

And never stops – at all.

A Life That’s Good.

In the spirit of creativity and love today, there’s another home decor project that I have been working on for someone very special.

We have an extraordinary person in our lives, someone with whom we can leave our children in the most trusted hands, and this person has an extraordinary favorite song that is more like a mantra.

And she mentioned that she admired the wall hangings that I did for my daughter’s bedroom.

And shared with me her favorite song.

And it is so special. Just like she is. And so I went to Michaels

And all I can say…

Is that this girl adds so so much good to our lives; to my children’s lives. 

I hope this finds a happy place in her home. And I know she’ll find a life that’s good.
