Foxy Find.

Today, after a rousing stop at some Purim festivities, my mom and I headed to Nordstrom.

And there I found some more inspiration for my future master bedroom.

Right now I’m thinking Navy, leopard print, gray walls, ruching…I am thinking tranquil and chic. I am thinking this ain’t happening for a long time, but a girl can dream (and polyvore.)

And I got some great inspo ideas, from color to texture to cute, meaningful decor.

And then,I spotted this:

Apparently it had just been delivered this morning. And you know how I feel about all things the Foxy.

So I had to adopt it.

Not sure where it will find it’s home yet; I could put it on my baby’s Anywhere chair, or in my sunroom. But I have fantasies of a velvet chaise in a future master, with this right on top of it.

Dreams are great, but Foxy dreams are the best.

My journey with Jeff Lewis.

Don’t get too excited…it’s a pretty short one (and not most intimate-ever with a Bravo-lebrity…Teaser alert!)

But one time someone stumbled upon Mommy, Ever After by using the search term “Jeff Lewis Baby Unibrow”. That’s pretty amazing in itself. No? I have always loved the guy.

But now that I have a relatively new found passion in all things home design (including decor and, of course, color) I have been really digging the new season of Flipping Out; and I find myself noticing things, like their Green and Gray throw pillows in the main room in Grammercy, and ZOMG Jeff Lewis Color. I fantasize about our future master addition, and now, when watching, I pay close attention to things like budget and “the bones” of a space.

So, in the words of my favorite Neon Trees song, Animal, “here we go again…”

We are well on our way. With Leopard.

Dreams for my future fantasy bedroom are coming together slowly but surely. Sure, we have a major addition to complete, and sure, that is years away, but at least I got my leopard print. Dave at Norman Carpet One had my mommom’s remnants bound for me so now I have a fabulous leopard area rug in my master. Check it.
