I came across this article on the best places to shop online for home decor.
Go ahead. Get lost.
I’ll leave the trail of breadcrumbs.
Or Jonathan Adler cannisters…
whatever the case may be.

Kiddo Baño Completion (for now)
Our little facelift of the kids’ bathroom is now finally complete. For now. Because knowing me I will be wallpapering it in six months. But for now, I am satisfied. Mostly.

And then the second.
Now, with the birdcage light fixture hung I am happy to have a fun, slightly whimsical bathroom for my kids, that is gender neutral but still very colorful.
A few cool finds.
Today I went to Anthropologie to look for a birthday present and I came across some spectacular home decor and furniture finds.
I love these. Obviously.
I thought these were super cute. They would be cool on the shelf in my future great room addition. What? I haven’t talked about that one yet? Oh, that one’s coming too. (Hi hubby!)
And then this bedroom was just so beautiful; it had furry pillows (which we all know I loooove) and it was just yummy and it had the most spectacular bedside table ever. I think it was roughly 1/3 of my monthly mortgage.
But it was pretty. So pretty.
So, basically, Anthro is rockin’ it (no pun intended) in the home department.
Head on over to Mommy, Ever After for the rest of the story…
A happy little shelf.
I’ve written much before on our kitchen as a work in progress.
But there are parts of the room that I really love. Though our way future plans include building a big great room by converting the kitchen-adjacent-garage, it is a fine room for a long time. It has ample counter and cabinet space. It has a pantry and a cool little nook that isn’t insulated so it keeps our wine a little chilled.
And it has a little shelf display that I absolutely love. I’ve said before that I’m funny about colors.
I prefer monochromatic looks, or at least very defined schemes. For my kitchen, it’s clearly cherry/dark wood, black and white. So that is what my shelf features.
I love having these white ceramic pieces, bringing together the look.
I have the black and white photos
